Here are some pictures from our latest camping trip. We wanted to go someplace close and do an overnighter. We headed up Farmington Canyon and camped at Bountiful Peak Campground. It was nice to get away, until bed time.
You forget how hard it is to camp with kids. None of them wanted to go to sleep. Aiden and Asher fought on the top bunk half the night. How many times can you hear, "he's touching me!!!" before you go crazy!?! Macy was up and going too. We made her a bed in the trailer's bathtub. It would have been a perfect crib if she couldn't climb out:) As soon as she did fall asleep, on my bed, I moved her back to the tub. She stayed there until 2 and then I had a bed partner.
Tomorrow we are going to Bear Lake for a few day of boating, sand and relaxation. Stephen and Aiden start school the following week and we needed a little vacation.
I'm excited to get away from cleaning house, laundry, cooking....oh, wait, I'll still be doing that all up there but at least it won't feel like my normal routine.
