Husband Tag

So my cousin has tagged me. I've never been tagged before so I'm not really sure what it means. I'm guessing she wants me to answer the same questions she answered on her blog. If I'm supposed to Tag someone else then I choose, My cousin Natalie.


1. What's his name? Stephen Paul Bettwieser

2. How long have you been together? Our first date was the end of January 2000, so 8 years, 9+ months.

3. How long did you date? 3 months dating, 3 months engaged.

4. Who eats more? Stephen defiantly eats more, all though I've noticed a dramatic decrease since the physical labor has ceased. He doesn't need as many calories to study.

5. Who said "I love you" first? It was me! It went like this, "Stephen," "yah?" "I love you." "I love you too." then butterflies and lots of kissing. It was great.

6. Who is taller? Stephen's Taller. He's 6'3", I'm 5'6"

7. Who sings better? Me. Stephen doesn't sing much. He can't remember words to songs. You should hear him struggle through Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

8. Who is smarter? Defiantly him!

9. Who does the laundry? This is a trick question. I'm supposed to do the laundry, but after all the laundry baskets are full in the house, he usually breaks down and does it. I HATE LAUNDRY!

10. Who does the dishes? It about 80/20. Me being 80, him 20. If he were home more he probably would do it more than me. Not out of wanting to help, more out of annoyance of clutter.

11. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does. I'm closer to the door for all my nightly child awakenings.

12. Who pays the bills? I handle everything financial. I love it! I balance the checkbook everyday. I guess it's a habit from working as a bank teller.

13. Who mows the lawn? Stephen. He has a riding lawn mower. I don't do anything that pertains to the yard.

14. Who cooks dinner? I make dinner, but Stephen's a better cook. If only he had more opportunities to cook for us:)

15. Who drives when you are together? He usually talks me into driving, using the excuse that it's free study time. But he's good to drive home if it's dark. I think I might be night blind.

16. Who is more stubborn? Stephen!! But I usually can get my way after a lot of persistence. It's a good thing too, or Macy wouldn't exist.

17. Who kissed who first? I kissed him on our first date. (I sound so pushy, the first kiss the first I love you.)

18. Who asked who out first? Stephen asked me out 3 weeks in advance of our date. The suspense killed me.

19. Who proposed? It was strange. After the whole I love you thing, we both just knew. The next day he asked me to go ring shopping. I wouldn't officially accept the ring until he proposed though. After he had the ring, we snuck into Red Butte Garden (climbed the fence) he took me to a bench overlooking the valley and popped the question. What a surprise!

20. Who is more sensitive? Definitely me!

21. Who has more friends? Probably Stephen. He's becoming quite the social butterfly.

22. Who has more siblings? I have the most if you count everyone(step and half) 12 for me, 2 for him.

23. Who wears the pants in the family? I think we are fairly even.
