I had to share this even though my mom will probably kill me. So after I got hooked on the Twilight Books, I introduced them to my 48 year old mother. She quickly got into them and has loved them as much as I have.
So today she shows up at my house to announce that she entered this local contest awhile back(through KJZZ TV), where you submit a story about what you would do if you could live forever.
Well she got the phone call today that she WON!
So, all she wanted was for us to go to the premier on opening night. Now she gets a lot more than she bargained for. She will get a "PROM" makeover. A new PROM dress, a Photo shoot, tickets to the Megaplex Red Carpet event and tickets to the movie later that night. She gets to bring me along to the PROM evening and movie.
We were both laughing until we cried when we actually read what she won. She's a little embarrassed at wearing a prom dress to the movie, but I think it's GREAT! I'll dress up to to support her. She kept saying that she's an old mom, and that she should have put my name on the entry form:)
This will be a night we both will never forget. LIFE'S TOO SHORT TO BE EMBARRASSED!
