We've made the big switch from a crib to a bed for Macy. She's now had freedom for 3 nights and is doing OK. We decided to switch her to a bed early because she finally figured out how to Jump out of her crib and we didn't need another broken limb. She's definitely enjoying her new freedom. Last night at 1:30 she came into our room saying "c'mon, c'mon" She was motioning with her hand so I followed her to see what she needed. She led me to the fridge and wanted some food. I made her a bowl of cereal that we ate together on the kitchen floor in the dark. She was content after her snack and went back to bed.
Today I put her in bed for her nap, she promptly got out and started kicking the door and yelling to get out. I knew she was just mad so I let her cry it out for a bit. When I went in to check on her she was asleep on the carpet. Hey, all I care about is the nap, I don't mind at all if she wants to sleep on the carpet. I'll take a picture of her cute bed when her new bedding arrives in the mail next week.

love the sledding picts.. looks like macy wants to move to arizona with me. i get the idea she's not in love with the snow!
