Our 1 week vacation without kids ....

Day One: We boarded our cruise ship headed for the Mexican Riviera

We explored our bottom of the boat stateroom.
We went on deck to feel the wind in our hair...
We posed for some nice couple shots...
We explored the ship
and came back to our room that night to funny towel animals.
Day Three: Cabo San Lucas the weather was a bit rainy so our shore excursion was canceled. We decided to do some exploring on our own.
We interacted with the local wildlife...
Did a lot of walking...
Watched large guns walk by us....
and cozied up with the locals.

We bought some vanilla to give to all the babysitters...

and headed back to the ship.Day Four: Mazatlan. The weather was great and we headed out on our own to find the water taxi's. We found the taxi and for $2/round trip we made our way to Stone Island for a day of relaxation.

Our private paradise...
We were the only tourists for a good part of the morning.
We were very excited when we found a lot of baby sea turtles making their way to the ocean.

We decided to give a few of them a head start to the water.

Then we parked in in front of Lety's Restaurant for a day of relaxation; sipping coca cola and coconut milk.
ahhhhh, aren't you jealous?!
Lety made us some lunch...

and Stephen enjoyed the waves.
Time to head back to the water taxi.
Awaiting us in our room, this adorable elephant.
Day Four: Puerto Vallarta. Our fun filled day started bright and early with an extreme canopy zip line. We took a speed boat for a 20 minute ride across the bay and then hopped onto these for a very bumpy ride up the mountain.

We geared up...
and prepared to mount the mules...
a little pucker sound and a jab in the tummy and these animals will take you anywhere.
Looking good honey!....

We made it to the first zipline...

and he's off...

We did a few more ziplines and then a rappel down a waterfall. Talk about adventure! The water was splashing down on me and I ended up in water up to my waist at the bottom. Yehah!

There aren't any pictures of the zipline straight into the pool of water, but as you can see from our clothes we went all the way under. Here is the second rapel.

The guide was nice enough to loosen the rope at the end and dunk me again.

We crossed a few rope bridges, and more rappels to end us up on the last one. A double zipline were Stephen and I raced. I won, but only because the guide cheated and gave me a good sendoff. So do you think our day couldn't get any better?... Think again. Next up para-sailing.

Our day in Puerto Vallarta is coming to an end but not without some more relaxing, and watching the sunset.

We stoped at this hotel and swam in their pool.
Now this is a vacation!

Back to the room for some needed rest after our long day.
