We just love going to the farm. We arrived there around 3, just in time for chores. We bundled up because it was FREEZING and headed out to the farm. Macy stayed inside with my step sister Nikki and the boys and I went to help my dad. While the boys were off on the warm tractor I took my new Birthday and Christmas present (a camera) around the farm and took LOTS of pictures. I'm going to surprise dad with a special book with pictures of the farm. I had a great time exploring and finding alot of cool things.

That night we all went out to dinner and Asher sang his preschool program songs for us. He's quite the entertaining boy! He can sing the whole song of, "God Bless America" complete with actions.
The next day was a bit snowy but we still piled into the Navigator and headed to the mountians to find the perfect christmas tree. We had to do a bit of hiking to get there and Aiden and Asher were in HEAVEN. They love the snow! We quickly found our trees and Aiden was incharge to cut them down. Macy wasn't very happy about the snow in her boots and was very happy to get back in the car. A ward member had made a christmas sign for my brother Brooks, who is on a mission, so we took some pictures to tell him we were thinking about him, and then headed backhome for hot soup and cinnamon rolls .

What a great tradition to start off the Christmas season. I just hope we will be here for at least four more years so we can continue it.
We drove back to Utah that afternoon, set up the tree and then headed downtown for a family dinner with my cousins and grandparents. It was a fun weekend. I'm glad we could stay busy while Stephen was gone on his trip. By the way, he felt his interview went well! Fingers crossed for an acceptance to ANY medical school.

Your farm pictures look great. I'm sure you dad will love his book for Christmas. What a fun tradition-definitely something your kids will grow up remembering and loving.
Good luck to Stephen. It's so nerve racking going to all the interviews and then waiting to hear back.
