On Wednesday night we arrived with our camper at Cub River to spend a night in the mountains. We had a nice evening and then the next day some of the family came up to go 4-wheeling and have lunch with us. Aunt Jerri and her friends went on a nice hike with us up the the fresh water spring and then we enjoyed a wonderful lunch prepared by Grandma Moser.

Before we headed back down the canyon to go to the farm, Stephen took the kids to the river to cool off. The water was freezing but Stephen dunked himself right in and then the boys showed how brave they were too. Macy wanted to take her pants off and play in her panties! So cute!

The next day we woke up early, got a babysitter and went to the Logan Temple. My cousin Emily was going through the session for the first time and it was great to support her and get a chance to go to the temple.

Later that afternoon Stephen's mom drove up with the cousins who were coming to visit the farm for the first time. Aiden and Asher enjoyed giving them the tour and then we headed uptown for the horse parade and carnival
.

Bracken fits right in!Leslie and the cousins slept in the camping trailer that night and then the next morning was time for more partying! We all decided to go to the Logan pool and had a great time. We also did some sidewalk shopping and hit up the local Preston D.I. where we bought cowboy boots for the kids and Stephen found a plastic doll head for Grandpa and Grandma's scarecrow. It took them a while to figure out who played the trick on them. Lets not forget our stop off at the Fat Boy Ice cream factory. Everyone got double scoops of ice cream for .88 cents! What a deal!

Saturday night is the biggest night for the parade so more of the family drove up for the fun. My grandpa Moser is on the dairy board for the state of Idaho and he arranges for a big milk truck to come up and throw out milk chugs. The family members who want to be in the parade hop aboard their rangers and throw out the milk. Aiden has done it for 3 years now and he was so excited to show off for his visiting cousins. He's so cute!
we always get a couple crates of milk just for our family!

later that night we went to the rodeo to complete the Preston festivities.
On Sunday Aunt Jerri took the kids horseback riding. Macy looked a bit nervous on that big animal. She was fine for the whole ride, but the second she was off the tears started to flow.

Asher had a great ride but then it was Aiden's turn. He just got on the horse and I was in the field taking pictures when my camera scared the horse and he dumped Aiden right off. He was furious at me and was crying. It took a bit to persuade him to get back on the horse, and he finally consented as long as I was no where near. Hopefully he's not terrified for the rest of his life.

We had a great few days with the Moser's and then we left right from there to go on the Marley family vacation in Bear Lake. Check back soon for the rest of the pictures.
