We went out with some friends in the ward last night. It was two of their birthday's so we of course needed to celebrate. We love eating different foods and last night was no exception. Our friends the Browns and Roberts, took us to a Dim Sum place on State Street in Salt Lake City. I'm not a big fan of Dim Sum, but had fun watching everyone eating interesting foods.
After dinner we introduced all of them to "The Bakery," we all sampled very expensive cakes, and tortes and hot chocolate with Biscotti. It was crazy busy that night, but we felt hip and cool to be out and about in downtown Salt Lake on a Saturday night.

We have made so many fun friends in this ward. I've been feeling a bit sad to be moving in 6 months to Des Moines. It's always hard for me to make new friends and just when we start to get comfortable we move. I'm going to make it a personal goal to be more outgoing, so that our transition in Iowa will be a smooth one.
