Stephen is loving school and so far it has been great. He leaves around 7:30 and gets home at 6:30 in the evening. We have dinner together and then he hangs out with us until 9. I think I might even be seeing him more than I did when he was just working a full time job.
I have been busy with photography, babysitting, and normal everyday kid stuff. I started road biking with some friends during the summer and have really enjoyed my early morning rides. Stephen is hooking me up with all his gear that he is too busy to use. So if you see a slow girl dressed like a boy riding with cool night lights then you will know it is me! A few weeks ago I finally switched to clip in pedals and had my first fall last week. All I can say is that it is really embarrassing and I'm glad it was dark out.(Not that I was moving. No, I just tipped over at a complete stop) Now I know how hard the road feels when you smash into it. I think I've been a bit more cautious since that accident.

Aiden is busy with third grade and piano lessons. He actually hates both (so he says) and life has become a constant battle with him. The very first week of school he refused to do his homework packet and threw this huge tantrum and I pretty much threw a huge tantrum trying to force him into doing it. I eventually had to call my mother to talk some sense into the stubborn child. I'll just say that she has volunteered to take over the homework packet and life was much easier this week without the headache.
Don't even get me started on Piano! All I can say is that I REFUSE to let him quit and usually have to resort to trickery to get him to practice. If I go down and "try" to play what ever song he is currently working on, he has to come in the room to correct me of all my mistakes which usually leads him to just playing it for me to show the "correct way to do it"
Oh Boy! Life with a stubborn 8 year old that thinks he's 15 is not going so well!

Asher started Kindergarten which he says, "is so much better than preschool!" He loves his teacher and is such a sweet heart. He is doing well with blending the alphabet sounds and is sounding out little three letter words. He actually likes doing his homework and doesn't like having to wait until the afternoon to go to school.
He is having hard times going to bed at night which makes me a bit crazy. I have the philosophy that I've had to deal with you all day long and once you are put to bed you stay there because it's mommy time now! He also is the first one awake in the morning! So unlike him!
Soccer has started again and he loves it. He's a good little player and thinks he's going to be a professional soccer player when he grows up. That, or be a worker at classic skating:) He's still my most cuddly child and loves to just grab a book and curl up on the couch looking at all the pictures.

Macy is in preschool. She also hates having to wait until the afternoon to start. She loves to play with neighbor kids most of the day and is always begging to have friends over. It's almost easier to just have the friends over so she'll let me get things done. She loves to draw and cut things out. We go through so much computer paper because of her. She even cuts up all the magazine and newspapers. She is really good though and never cuts anything else unlike another child of mine.
Well hopefully I can get back on the ball of posting more. I guess it you never see a post from me on here check facebook or my photography blog to see what I've been up to. www.everydayanisha.blogspot.com
