Graduation!

It's that time of year. The kids are getting older and moving on in school. Macy graduated from Tiny Tikes Preschool and Asher graduated from Mrs. Hardy's Kindergarten class. We have LOVED our teachers this year and I just can't believe my baby will be in Kindergarten this fall. Actually the whole family will be in school this fall.

Macy in Kindergarten, Asher in 1st grade, Aiden in 4th grade, Stephen in his 2nd year of medical school and I will be a student at the U working towards my bachelor degree. Life will be busy, but I've regretted not finishing my degree before I had kids and now seems like a good time to head back. I did some online courses this past spring semester and I really enjoyed using my brain and feeling smart. I just got stuck in mommy mode and it's amazing how bad my memory was getting.

 I'm a bit nervous for fall semester because I'm taking 15 credit hours. Which will be a lot with three kids and a very busy husband, but I've worked out my schedule to fit into the times Macy will be in kindergarten and an afternoon preschool 3 days a week. I'm on track to graduate when Stephen does, Spring 2015. It seems so far away... but that includes being done with my student teaching. I am going to get an Early Childhood Education degree which will allow me to teach k-3 grade. Let's hope Stephen stays in Utah for residency so my certification will be valid.
