Bear Lake

We are home from Bear Lake. It was a fun trip and the kids had a great time. The best part is hanging out with all of my family,( I don't know if stephen would say that's the best part:)
He was tired and a bit cranky this weekend. On Thursday-Friday he hiked to the top of the Grand Teton Mountains in Jackson Hole with his friends. He said they made record time, just over 15 hours! Not my idea of a great time. Then he met up with us on Saturday afternoon in Bear Lake. He was worn out and aching, which doesn't make for much fun. He didn't even water ski. He did have an enormous blister on his big toe from his rock climbing shoes so I don't blame him for not wanting to ski. It was just nice to all be together. He's been so busy with school and all his research and volunteer projects that we don't see much of him.

I wish I was more adventurous, but I'm kinda a wimp. I wasn't always this way. I think breaking my wrist while snowboarding, kinda put an end to my adventurous side. Aiden was only ONE at the time and it was so hard to take care of him with one hand. It just didn't seem worth the pain I went through for 4+ months for one day of fun. (see the picture below and you'll understand) But I did go for a fun ride on the water banana a couple of times.

I guess my husband's adventures and thrills make up for the both of us. I did go Ice Climbing with him once so I guess I'm not a total baby!

We're so glad that you started a blog- it was fun reading and learning more about you....your poor wrist, I don't know how you took care of Aiden!
