So if your child ever breaks a bone, make sure to ask for a water cast. Insurance won't cover it so they don't usually tell people about it. I had to pay an extra $40, but it is well worth it.
Macy got her cast on a few days ago. A hot pink, below the knee cast. In theory she should be able to walk on it, but she refuses. I think having her knee bent for a week in her temporary cast made it very sore. She's been very cranky since she received her new cast. I'm sure her leg is hurting. Luckily she will only have to have it for 3 weeks. She will get it off before Christmas.

That's good to know about the water cast- I'm sure some dreaded day I'll need to remember that! Macy is such a doll and such a trooper. I'm glad she'll have it off for christmas!
I'm going to ask about tubes at Kate's next appointment because they haven't even brought it up yet!
That is so sad to have your little one in a cast...but I do appreciate the info about the water cast. After this past month I've realize that Brynlie is my child that will keep our health insurance busy. I'll remember your advice!
