How Does Your Garden Grow . . .

We started picking our lettuce today. I can't believe how big and beautiful they have gotten. I'm really enjoying having a garden. I love to go out each day and see how everything is doing. I never thought I would enjoy it this much. We made a Cobb salad for dinner tonight and everything tasted wonderful.
I took the before pictures on May 8th and the After pictures are today, June 1st.

What a change. I'm most proud of the Brussels sprouts.
They LOVE us!
Actually everything is doing great, except our beans and peas. We had to replant about a week ago when we only had a couple of sprouts pop through after weeks of waiting. The new sprouts have already appeared so I think we are on our way to a nice crop. We definitely feel like farmers.

Macy came out to help pick lettuce all dressed in her winter hat. She can be such a funny girl. She was scowling at us because she wanted her shoes on. (A typical expression of her's)

I love the scowl. Your garden looks amazing. The only thing that didn't make it in my garden was the crook neck squash. My corn is coming up in phases too, wierd. Anyway, looks good, keep it up!
