Ward Campout

What a fun campout we had last night. The real ward campout was rained out this summer, so we had our own campout. The ward members met at the church for a potluck dinner and a movie. Then we were supposed to go home, or camp in our backyards and meet for breakfast the next morning. We decided to invite some neighbors over and make a party out of it.

We had four other families join us for a movie on our outdoor big screen and camping in our backyard. The kids absolutely LOVED having 12 friends over for a sleepover and the adults ended up having fun too. It was a bit of work to get everything set up and then taken down, but what better way to get to know your neighbors, let the kids think it's all about them, and have a yummy dinner and breakfast together.
