Superbowl Party

We watched the Superbowl last night. We didn't know who was playing or even what time it started, but Stephen insisted on a party. I know what you're thinking: Stephen wanted to have a Superbowl party?!? Yes he did. He said that just because he doesn't like football doesn't mean that his kids shouldn't make up their own opinion about the game.

We'll our party turned out really fun. This is the first time I have ever watched a whole Superbowl game. I know how the game is played because my uncle David played football. He was the kicker at BYU and then played some pre-season professional ball. I remember as a little girl going with him to the local highschool to shag footballs. He even had two of us climb up the goal post and sit up there to create the correct measurements for him to kick through. I was so proud of him! We were really close after he came home from his mission. When he went to BYU, we were pen pals and he always told me that he was going to kick it through the goal post for me on a kick off. I think he did once in fact. I'll have to call and find out. I remember a special game against Notre Dame that he was really proud of. Oh, those were such fun days!

So we had tons of; treats, pop, chicken wings and pizza. Asher was hyped up on sugar all night and was running around like a chicken with his head cut off. He is really effected by sugar. Beware, anyone who ever watches him...no sugar! (asher did lots of break-dancing!)Stephen fell asleep after half time and Aiden and I watched the whole game. Hopefully we will do it again next year, sounds like a plan to me.

So, as you can tell our "Organic Diet" still consists of M&M's, brownie bites, chips, soda, marshmallows, twizzlers, and processed foods. Da*%$, it was good!

Only for today! And amazingly enough the kids hardly touched any of the treats.
