We had a great fourth of July. It is Stephen's favorite holiday. He says he loves it because you get free entertainment, hot weather, relaxation and you don't have to buy gifts. Sounds pretty good to me too!
We had a nice day with the family. Here are highlights from our Fabulous Fourth!
Mom saved us these seats the night before. It's tradition for everyone to gather at our house, since we live next to the parade route. We had a nice breakfast then all of us headed to the parade.
My brother Derek and Step-dad Brian ran the 5k before the parade started. (Derek threw-up at the finish line:)
Macy waved to everyone as they passed. I just love that she had to bring her puppy.
Someone threw out this t-shirt as they passed and Stephen just had to put it on, even though it was 4 sizes too small. We joked that he looked like my brother Bracken (who likes to wear tight shirts.) He looked like a muscle man and I refused to let him take it off.
Jennifer did trampoline tricks for us at our house. We love our backyard!
