We were excited to hear that Asher's cousins from Arizona were going to be here over his birthday weekend. It's the first party they've been able to come to of his and we wanted to have a special "cousins" birthday party.
I set up the backyard for a dinosaur timed obstacle course. Asher helped me pick the best dinosaur for each obstacle and the kids had fun racing through completing the tasks.
We then all decorated frames and Asher took a special picture with each birthday guest. 
We finished the party off with a dinosaur bone dig in the sandbox and then had cake, ice-cream,
presents and haircuts.
The haircuts were more of a spur of the moment type thing. Summer (Stephen's sister) was saying how she just wanted to buzz off her hair and so Stephen took her into the garage and did just that. She's beautiful no matter how she wears her hair and it was fun to see those perfect curls falling to the ground.(She called later on to tell us that she wanted to go even shorter and so she bought some clippers and shaved her hair down to a #4!)
Asher had a great cousins party! It was fun having ALL of the Bettwieser cousins together.

Lucky guy to have such a blast for his birthday- I'm sorry we missed it (we had lunch after church and then went up to Oma's grave)
